Dark skinned

Is it possible to become dark skinned? obviously im not actually going to be african, and i dont know to what extent i could actually change my other features, but with european hair and blue eyes i think id do reasonably well with black or at least mixed skin. im only wondering whether this would be considered problematic? i live in inner london
