People on this forum cope too much regarding "Dark Triad" and what it really means. In this post we will look at what dark triad means in terms of personality and looks and the different types of dark triads and how they are differentiated from each other.

So what actually is dark triad?
Dark Triad (Personality)
Dark Triad is a psychological theory of the three main "malevolent" personality traits and their relation to each other:
Narcissism is characterized by grandiosity, pride, egotism, and a lack of empathy.
Machiavellianism is characterized by manipulation and exploitation of others, indifference to morality, lack of empathy, and a strategic focus on self-interest.
Psychopathy is characterized by continuous antisocial behavior, impulsivity, selfishness, callous and unemotional traits and remorselessness.
High scores in these traits have been found to statistically increase a person's likelihood to commit crimes, cause social distress, and create severe problems for organizations, especially if they are in leadership positions. They also tend to be less compassionate, agreeable, empathetic, and satisfied with their lives, and less likely to believe they and others are good.
Men with such traits have been shown to be appealing to women in short term relationships as they are seen to be able to provide resources, a low inhibition thrilling life style or a dominant primal prescence.
Dark Triad (Looks)
Dark Triad looks mainly consist of a striking, low trust and dominant/dimorphic face, dark hair, eyebrows and eyelashes and tall stature. These show high testosterone levels, proper craniofacial development and high sex appeal.
Dark Triad looks are however broken down into 3 main subcategories which are different to each other yet still fall under "Dark Triad" looks.
Note: * = This feature has to be possessed, otherwise this entire look will be useless.
1) Vampire
- Tall (6'0-6'6) *
- Black, Dark Brown or Medium Brown straight or slightly wavy hair *
- Pale/white skin *
- Clean shaven (ideal), Goatie (Connected or Disconnected)
- High set prominent cheekbones (less focus on jaw) *
- Amber, Green, Grey or Blue eyes *
- Sharp canines
- Thick dark straight or positively tilted eyebrows *
- Slim to athletic build *
- Dark, fitted style
- Full, neutral lips
- Deep Raspy voice
- Somewhat introverted personality

2) Werewolf
- Tall (6'1-6'8) *
- Black or Dark Brown Thick, dense straight, wavy (ideal) or curly short, medium length or long (ideal) hair *
- Forwardly grown maxilla, chin and mandible (predator) *
- High to medium set cheekbones (prominence doesn't matter that much as long as not flat, more focus on jaw)
- Wide jaw and Square chin *
- Light Brown/tanned skin *
- Dark Brown, Light Brown, Hazel, Amber or Green eyes *
- Clean Shaven, Dense stubble (ideal), Light beard or goatie
- Thick dark straight or positively tilted eyebrows *

- Moderate body hair (ideal but not necessary)
- Dark fitted to slightly baggy style, somewhat rugged and messy
