One time I was brushing my gums along with my teeth/tongue/upper palate, but I had scratched my gums by toothbrush, I had crazy pain and abscess in that affected area, I couldn't even chew on food with feeling intense pain, It didn't go on its own, I had to buy a disinfectant spray to help the healing process.

Im half pashtun half punjabi and I view myself south Asian but I am a half so that might be why.

Damn, man, that sucks! How long did you deal with in total and did you see a dentist in order to come to that conclusion (buying a disinfectant spray)? I tried rinsing my mouth with water mixed with salt and later I squeezed it open sorta, it got some (TMI) bloof and pus out and it's somewhat smaller than it was before. I am not sure if it's because of the salty water thing or the squeezing but either way I am going to try the water thingy again. Thankfully I do not have any pain whatsoever but I can feel it's there and it's annoying. Especially before it got smaller.
