Dehydrated when sleeping

I woke up feeling great but dehydrated. I read that you lose more water if you mouth breath during sleep. Could taping your mouth shut be legit?

to high pillow can cause a neck tilt for jaw dropping.

yeah i also tape my mouth but i think i finally learned myself to sleep with mouth closed, (always bite your teeth togheter)
