Desperately need advice

Im 17 and trying to looksmax but I think my teeth are holding me back, im missing both my upper lateral incisors so my canines are next to my front teeth, I have a deep bite and a slight overbite, my upper and lower premolars are very deep its like a scissor bite or what its called, each premolar almost looks like two canines sitting back to back. I also have some crowding in my lower teeth and i believe i have a little narrow palate and lower jaw. My molars also sit lower or deeper than my premolars and front teeth, and ive also always chewed on my molars so that might have been one of the causes. My face is also asymmetrical, my lower jaw is a bit shifted to the side and my left cheekbone sits higher than my right.

Ive been to an orthodontist before but he only adressed the missing teeth and said the plan was to shave my canines down to look like incisors and then bring my lower teeth forward and upper teeth a bit back, but im nor sure if thats smart or not. I have also considered marpe or just any palatal expander but prolly wont get that done because its expensive and i dont think i really need it bad.

Should i go with this orthodontist or should i see another? I asked what braces he was thinking of using and he kinda just told me «regular» ones. I also tried saying that facial aesthetics were very important to me but he just said it wouldnt do any difference. Help pls

Yeah not shit but i literally just said my orthodontist didnt address all the issues and i already spent hundreds on pointless talks so i wanna see what others say before spending more money or doing something that will fuck me up and most clinics just care abt ur teeth and nothing else

Btw this is all very specific but i was just curious if anyone else had any experience with the same issues

Yeah I agree with most comments here, honestly just go to orthodontists, a picture would be nice though.
