You are correct towards the end in saying they skipped a lot of content,yes that is precisely what i mean and why
it turned out to be a rushed an underwhelming anime compared to other peak series like Bleach and Naruto for
example who gave lots of context and background for each respective character and storyline before culminating
into their climax moments

Its a bit hard to explain but the character development of the Protagonist Sung Jinwoo became overpowered for
absolutely no reason to the point where has surpassed even the strongest leaders of the respective Guilds
governing the Nation idk the simplest way i can explain it is that the entire series was wayy too rushed

To be fair they had to condense 100 chapters and 14 arcs of the manhwa into 2 seasons, many important scenes were skipped as a result of this, there just wasn't enough time to build up any character relationships, contexts, and backgrounds. Thats why it seemed so rushed.

And all of this built up to the shitty pacing of the anime that you saw, that's why I recommend you to read the manhwa instead it gets rid of that problem.
But at the end of the day Solo leveling is just an action packed power fantasy. not some deep philosophical masterpiece you get what you came for, watching a guy go from weak to op with overbudgeted animation, its called solo leveling for a reason, the plot is simple because it needs to be its just a hype farm.
