Because I don't exactly have nerdy interests. I'm simply socially awkward

I was invited to the occasional party, yet never went

My parents bought me a $17,000 car when I was in high school (this was in 2008 when 17k was a lot of money for a car), yet even that didn't gain me any popularity. If anything, it just made me get resented at my middle class high school (I was a rich kid at a middle class high school)

I don't own a car right now

In fact, other than driver's ed, I've never driven a car my parents didn't own (and I haven't driven any car at all in over a decade)
