You don't necessarily want to lose weight; that could involve muscle loss, only losing bf is what counts. Depending on how fat you are and how much activity you do, you should be eating in about a 300-500 calorie deficit while eating about a gram of protein for every pound of bodyweight, and sum, to retain and gain muscle. bloatloard gymcel JFL. I have muscle but also some fat.
 
cant do both at the same time
 
small defecit (200-300), high protein (smaller portions throughout the day for better digestion and less blaoting), most carbs before and after gym.
