I have been debating in my head which one of these two to get.
here are the pros and cons of both for me.
I have attached a photo of my lower third, be honest and practical in your assessment
Genioplasty

Pros
- Cost efficient compared to a double jaw surgery
- does not require the removal of my wisdom teeth (which can potentially descend you)
- Time efficient compared to double jaw surgery (pre-op time, post op recovery, etc)
- Has a good ROI for me chin wise

Cons
- Results may be unsatisfactory, and disappointing compared to what I am expecting.

Double jaw surgery (+Genioplasty)

Pros
- Guaranteed ascension in the lower third, since I am not only advancing the chin but the mandible and maxilla too.

Cons
- Cost is much higher than a genioplasty alone (I do not have sleep apnea or anything that requires me to get the surgery, I have not got a CT scan yet so who knows but in my everyday life I feel basically nothing)
- the Time it takes pre op and post op is much higher than a genioplasty alone, potentially 12 months pre op and 3 months post op.
- I have to get my wisdom teeth removed (contain stem cells, and are essential for your nervous system)
- May be overkill for my situation

no scans yet, can you explain to me why you need a smile pic? is it for my palate or something
Determines potential movements for jaw surg

I would probably try to pursue trimax based on your pic, but just like you said it will be a hassle.

it will be a hassle in every sense of the word, financially physically time wise, and is it worth it? i have a feeling my only true flaw is my chin, if they downgraft my chin a little with the genioplasty then I would have fixed most of the problem.

your profile is cucked. lower third is short and high facial convexity. This is why ccw bimax would be ideal, if your anatomy allows. But without scans and smile pics i can't say more.

I will get my ct scan soon and post it, I have to add I was in a mewing position, if I push my jaw forward, my ramus is in the ideal position so counter clock wise doesn't really make sense to me, downgrafting I would get
