Is it just me that literally can not look into a mirror with bad lighting without feeling disgusted

Nah I get it, luckily the bathroom always has good lightning for me. Most people see you closer to the way you look in good lightning if that helps.

Well most people see you in movement in daylight while harsh lightning comes from overhead lightning and js makes you ugly because it shows all the shadows and details. But nobody actually sees you like that realistically when you're outdoors (or indoors with soft lightning). Most schools have pretty terrible lightning which is why "school air" is a thing.
