There's only one clinic in Finland that does buccal fat removal and I don't live in that city. And I'm very interested doing own experiments so this is research for the looksmaxxing community.

I am 16 yo and just did my first DIY Aqualyx session.

In this thread I am gonna explain all the materials u need, sources and some tips that would have helped me before my first session

I injected 5,5 ml of Aqualyx in total.
—> 3x 0,5ml in hyoid and jawline Area
—> 2x 1ml in each Buccal fat Pad

Materials

- 27g , 12-16mm Insulin needles
—> one’s I used: https://amzn.eu/d/bjnR0zQ

- Alcohol wipes
—> one‘s I used:

Amazon.de

- Aqualyx ofc ( sold in 8ml vials just throw out the last 3ml or use it somewhere else like belly or smth if u need jfl )

- Lidocain cream or even better lidocain liquid to mix with the Aqualyx (I used cream)

(I freestyled but can be useful)
—> didnt use one but costs like 3€ or smth

Tutorial
On the hyoid ur gonna make 3 points and inject 0,5ml of Aqualyx into each Point

—> 50IU if u use a 1ml/100IU Insulin syringe like me

The red points in the picture is where ur gonna put the needle in and inject the Aqualyx
—> u only have to use around 8mm of the needle at the hyoid bc the skin is thinner and the fat pad is easier to reach

On the Buccal fat Area u have to make 2 injection points

U can also draw a Grid on ur cheek like this but it also makes it a bit more complicated and more painful bc you have to put in the needle way more often

Only picture I could find online but u get what I mean. Its more complicated and harder to always inject into the fad pad. So I personally wouldnt recommend doing it like this
—> especially when ur lean like me and not that fat

Ur gonna locate the fad Pad using ur thumb and Index finger and try to feel for a soft part around ur cheek.
—> various tutorials on yt

then hold the fad pad with these two fingers and squish it a bit together to make it easier to insert the needle

U can put the full 12,7mm of the needle in bc the fat pad is located deeper than the one over ur hyoid

—> Look up Aqualyx injections on tiktok and yt to get an understanding of how to inject

I was always pretty lean even before the procedure but I js wanted to get rid of some stubborn fat that annoyed me

Trust me I would love to post immediate results but now is the third day after the injections and I am still pretty swollen.
I told my parents I did sparring against some friends of me and they fr believed it
—> rly don’t know how I always get away with these stupid ahh excuses

Ur swollen for around 4-7 days and the liquid stays in ur system for around 2 weeks.
After that it takes another 4 weeks (so 6 in total) to see the full results
—> u are also are supposed to repeat the procedure 1-2 times for the best results

In areas like buccal fat it takes a Bit longer to See results. But results around my hyoid Area are already rly noticable after only on sesh

Understood. I'm a bit disappointed because I havent got rid of morning bloat yet after injecting lipolab. But I'm mainly using super Lipolab V-line sol that's a indirect fat dissolver so that could be reason for ineffective results. But it's 6 days since I injected the last time so I have to wait
