Diy fat graft experience- 1 year post op

Fat grafting costs a few thousand, the equipment is few hundred, so I ordered it online abt a year ago and performed an autologous fat transfer on myself. Do not recommend, hurt like shit even w a topical anaesthetic and pain killers was absolutely excruciating, the cannula I ordered was way too big. Worst diy.

Took me 2 hours and I only ended up harvesting 3cc from the thigh just from the sheer pain, I injected all 3cc around the glabella and brows to help with the appearance of overdeveloped corrugator muscle.

Now 1 year later post op, it's established nicely and I can say the bioavailability is abt 60%, which is insane, I expected 30% at most. Next time I'll just pay though, this is the one procedure I wouldn't do again. But if you have access to a friend and general anaesthesia

Balls of steel if you actually did it on yourself, especially glabellar area, where the risk of embolism is highest. What anesthetic did you use? Perhaps, lidocaine is too mild and something from dentistry, like articaine, should be used. Many people would only agree to get operated on with general anesthesia or sedation, at least.
