hi,
average rogaine 5% 120ml Minoxidil Spray has the equivalent of
6000mg of Minoxidil (6g)
at 5mg daily, it'll last 1200 days (basically forever)
use rogaine since the ingredient list is very simple.
Alcohol
Propylene glycol
Purified water
(Minoxidil obviously)
use a desiccator, metal pan on the sun or whatever else to evaporate everything
use exact measurements of starting liquid (i recommend a Volumetric flask, (±0.01–0.05 mL)
use a pipette to spread out drops, one drop every ~3cm on a metal sheet in the sun
i don't recommend boiling but if you do use a thermometer and STAY BELOW 130⁰ VERY IMPORTANT.
but yeah after you get your product, measure your yield.
if you want recrystallize for extra purity (i recommend 99% ethanol).
you will not be accurate enough to message 5mg doses daily,
you'll need to titrate it with a power (i recommend creatine)
for 1g of Minoxidil,
1399g of creatine will be used.
dissolve creatine in water
Minoxidil in 70% ethanol (or 99% if you have)
and add both mixtures together (you'll likely struggle with the creatine just give it time 10-15mg of creatine per ml is good)
after you add both together
at 20-30⁰ you'll need approx 80L of water where you can do 16 different 5L batches
or if you have the ability to stay at 60⁰ consistently
you can use 30L of water where you can do 6 different 5L batches.
either way before you boil down completely
add them in a single flank/beaker and recrystallize or js boil everything away for your product.
(this is the best method and the least risky/most accurate)
or you get both your powders, creatine and Minoxidil.
you can put them in a grinder overnight and mix them thoroughly.
whatever way you do i recommend 5mg per 5g of creatine minimum. (this guide is for 5mg per 7g)
