Do a moustache help with long philtrum?

I have a thin upper lip. When I'm serious I look decent, but when I smile, my philtrum turns pretty monkey-ish and my upper lip becomes almost non existent. Can a small beard help me with this ugly feature?

Ya, it would in that case. Don't do it then. Don't do the moustache either though, too creepy. A long philtrum without a thin lip is not as bad as long philtrum with thin lip so I wouldn't worry about it. You only look ape ish if you have the long philtrum and thin lip because apes don't have lips.

Get a subnasal lip lift. Hair growth is papering over the cracks and doesn’t address the problem.
