Look. When dealing with hormonal imbalances (usually exesive estrogen) some people might consider taking AIs. To me, the problem with this is that 1) this doesn't target the cause of the problem and because of it it will be harmful.
How?
Well, in today's toxic word where a lot of the air contains some kind of spray (household cleaning product, cologne) what causes hormonal imbalances is ESTROGEN MIMICKING COMPOUNDS. These are molecules that are so similar to estrogen that they activate estrogen receptors in the body.
Now, AIs aim to stop the production of AROMATASE. Aromatase is simply a hormone that transform testosterone into estrogen (and the like) hormones. By taking AIs somebody is not only ignoring the real issue (estrogen mimic compounds), but is also severely risking to fuck up their hormonal system. Look up there are lots of post in PSL forums of people ruining their endocrine systems because of taking AIs. Aromatase is not the problem, endocrine disruptors are.
