Do braces actually recess you?

no braces don’t recess except the ones that are used after removing teeth, or using bands to pull the lower jaw/upper jaw forward/backward

Just crooked teeth, no teeth need to be removed and they’re perfectly healthy.

then probably a bit. I had crooked teeth when i was like11-12 and i got MARPE and it fixed it. Sometimes there will be a gap betwen your front teeth whcih needs braces to fix.

Alright thanks. I’ve always been insecure about my teeth so I’ll probably go through with it and splash all my cash on double jaw surgery when I’m older!

I’ll probably do this then, braces are covered by nhs so saves me about a thousand but I’ll have to pay for the rest

dont get braces if you have a narrow palatte ask the doctor to give you marpe
