East germans look more like poles or czechs imo than to other NW euros, they have significant slavic admixture and iirc closer to czechs and poles than to southwest and swiss germans

They would in London maybe. Brits are 37 percent of population there. People might think they are British.
But i dont think they would in small cities or towns. People are noticeably pale.

This. British generally have a more gentler, boneless and gracile faces while germans are more robust looking and masc. The differences are pretty subtle tho. A brit can easily larp as german and vice versa

Europe is not africa the genetic distances between groups isn't too much. Most europeans have a pan european look. If you look like oliver Kahn or something sure you will look sterotypically german but generally europeans look similar to each other.

I think you underestimate phenotype overlap in northern Europe, i doubt they look so different from Brits to the point where they can't pass at all in Britain, sure they wouldn't look like your typical Brit but i doubt they really can't pass

British people themselves are mixed. A blend of three main groups: Anglo-Saxons, Celts then there's also good amount of med ancestry from roman times and you have the black irish who look like meds. Most modern day europeans are not 100% pure and have large phenotype ovelaps

To list a few: better weather, on average wealthier so better food, less of a drinking culture (still a very large one), less Celtic blood in south (more Anglo) and just generally they are not as degenerate
