Do halos hide failos?

I've been wondering about what's really better looking, a man with many halos but also many failos or a man with little to no halos but also doesn't have any major flaw? Since the concept of looksmaxxing is basically just reducing/removing failos, if someone also has good examples I'd be happy.

A huge halo can direct attention away from a failo but it's not quantitative where the scores can be balanced (i.e. a10 eyes are dimorphic and a halo but won't simply erase a bad ipd).

I see, do you think it's better to have no failos but also lack strikingness or have some striking features mixed with other failos?
