you dont have to bulk really but id recommend a lean bulk
and you can progress if you go for a new PR every session on every exercise you do

not necessarily in weight but in reps too
but id stay below 10 reps because the more lactic acid you build up the more fatigued you get an it will be harder to push close to failure

And does it matter what I eat?
I mean do cardio after the workout if you're not lazy like me and eat good food thats not processed and dont eat refined sugars. And for the protein never rely on protein drinks, eat protein from real food. Also do ppl or upper/lower split and train to failure within a 4-10 rep range without junk volume and then you will grow.

1g of protein per pound of how much you weigh daily,
substract 200 calories from your maintenance (lower or higher)
macros: ~40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fats
3+ liters of water daily
strength training about 5 days a week with progressive overload
and idk how old u are but creatine is good as well

Stop doing compounds like deadlifts, bench press and shit like that, u just gonna waste your time with that. 90% of workouts should be isolated.
Focus on shoulders, mainly lateral side delts, spam lats exercises, spam your back, but never do traps and deadifts, unless u wanna ruin appeal and look like typical masc roidcel.
I also suggest skipping legs every other week, work them, but not every week, girls dont give fucks about them anyway and plus everyone wears oversize pants, just make sure your legs proportionate, no need to look like godzilla.
Spam abs every training session at the end, never do obliques tho, that will ruin waist.
Prioritize upper chest, only work chest with cables and dumbles, to work at perfect angles, ditch bench press and other normie bs.
Get as much protein as humanly possible, but make sure it is clean healthy food, face and youthfullnes above muscles. Just stay slightly above maintance in calories, around 2500 cal a day.

No redundant exercises
Low weekly volume

Depends on where you are rn, if you're skinnyfat just eat around maintenance, if you're skinny eat in a small surplus and asses monthly your bf gains and adjust your diet accrodingly, if you're fat you know what to do

Training is always the same, focus on (ordered) :
  1. Adherence, training for 3 weeks won't change much, commit to multiple months
  2. Intensity (as much wieght for as much reps and high effort (close or at failure)), volume (number of sets/week should be 10-20 per muscle group) and frenquecy (train multiple times a week)
  3. Progressive overload (more reps/weight each session), should be easy
Tempo, rest time, exercice selection matter a lot less as long as it is ok-tier.

Yes u need to bulk don't listen to the fucktards that are Ethier blasted roids and have a floppy dick or are twinks do a lean bulk like 300 cal surplus at 200g+ protien a day

its not like i eat like that everyday sometimes i just dont feel hungry because i smoke a pack of cigarettes
yes im gaining size i literally just got some stretch marks on both my biceps
