You don't need arabic, but it's better, because you can read the Quran then and it has a poetic melody when read in arabic so it's beautiful in many verses. Im talking about classical arabic, not todays arabic

Arabic is considered liturgical language within Islam, so it would be better if you learn to speak Arabic just for that purpose

You need to know how to read quran that only requires you to only know the arabic alphabet and grammar. It’s pretty easy and should take you like 2 weeks
