Do I need a palate expander? (35mm)

I have a 35mm palate at 18 and when I smile it shows 6 teeth. also my infras are recessed and I don't have prominent zygos at all which could stem from a narrow palate. If I expand my palate through MSE or MARPE, will that not only fix my smile but laterally project my maxilla to properly support my undereyes + possibly add zygo flare?

If you need a palate expander it depends on what your orthodontist says eg if your bite is weird and also your age. But yeah you probably do

I had braces already when I was 14 and headgear to fix my overbite and have been wearing a retainer since then which probably fucked up palatal development since it basically locks it in place. it just seems weird I went through that whole process and don't adress a narrow palate
