Do implants affect face a lot or does it need to be combined with bimax usually?

Been looking around the forum as of late and I’m trying to see if I actually need jaw surgery or just implants for angularity. Are the effects of implants not that big unless it’s combined with your double jaw surgery or could they be very effective by themselves?

Send a pic and let us judge

In general, jaw surgery is preferred over implants if you're recessed. Slapping implants on recessed face generally doesnt look good.

This obviously depends on each case :feelsuhh:

But if you actually need jaw surgery (which lots of people nowadays do), then implants may look uncanny and correcting your skeletodental deformity makes it easier for whoever is designing your implants to make them look good/better, plus you get a mogger airway which is a massive lifefuel

Get a scan and consult with a surgeon, he will tell you. Sometimes bimax might be low ROI and you can just get away with implants and perhaps genio. Other times the full package is needed
