Do mass gainers work for skinny ectomorphs?

So I am 17 year old 190cm ectomorph, been going to gym for almost 3 months now. At the start I weighed 69kg, now I am at around 70-72 and I feel like it's really hard to put on weight for me. Will taking 100g of mass gainer daily help me grow my muscles? In 100g of it there is 388 cals so I'm thinking about taking 200-300g a day to get extra 750-1150 calories on top of what i am eating rn. Will it make me fat? How much muscle could I build up this summer?

I tried several times with that shit. It works shorterm but it fucks up ur stomach. A brief test cycle is better

They are mostly BS, cheap protein mixed with cheapest possible carbs (and if they are slower rather than fast, then it's much more expensive and branded as something super healthy). Instead, add a good protein powder (I'd recommend buying bulk pure protein which is used for food production, isolates preferably) and simply increase size of your normal meals (assuming they are healthy). As an alternative for protein powder, look up other protein sources.
Dirty bulking is stupid, no matter if you're "hardgainer" or not (although, on high dose gear you can eat pretty much any crap).
 
Ectomorph mesomorph shit is an outdated unsubstantiated model. If you’re a few years under 25 you can dramatically grow bone density and MAYBE even have your muscles and your training pull a few of your bones that make up your frame a few cm wider like is commonly seen on ppl after training shoulders suddenly their “unchangeable lifelong frame” doubles in perceived width. Especially if you’ve spent most of your life under eating and undertrained you have no idea what latent growth your body is capable of once you shift into gear it’ll be like actually going through half-puberty with the right hormones and food

better buy protein mass gainers have mostly carbs just mix some protein with milk oats peanut butter bananas and protein you will have protein and calories

I know their genetics aren’t that good for muscle building, but at least something jfl. How can a person be completely unresponsive to any resistance training ????

That's because Pajeet isn't eating. lmfao. You need to be in a calorie surplus to gain muscle mass optimally. Ideally as a novice you can reasonably go up +2% body weight/month without putting on too much body fat. After 3 years of lifting at calorie maintenance, you'd think that his physique would visibly improve from the recomp though.

This. I literally ate 169ml of Ben & Jerry's today (401.2 calories), a Drumstick Kit Kat ice cream cone (280 calories) and I'm going to have another Drumstick Kit Kat. I've had 73 grams of whey protein isolate powder today to clean up my macros though. And will have another 18 grams before bed. I had shake n Bake Chicken Thighs for dinner. My breakfast and lunch weren't very high in protein. Buttered garlic toast with a slice of cheese (not the best thing to use as your primary source of protein). Grilled white baguette bread (spread with margarine) with a slice of cheese. My dad feeds me like I'm a Portuguese peasant in the 1960s. So I rely on protein powder a lot.

Mass gainers are expensive rip-offs. I've bought mass gainer a few times. It's like 196 calories per $CAD (Canadian Dollar). Too much money.

Just eat a 250 calorie serving of ice cream and down it with 100 calories of whey protein powder mixed with water and you should be good. That's an extra 350 calories. And depending on the purity of the protein powder you're using (whey protein isolate vs concentrate and whatever additives they put in the power), that's like 16-22g of whey protein.

If you want to make your own home-made mass gainer and you have a blender, use whey protein concentrate, pancake mix or oats, banana, milk and some sort of fat like peanut butter.

Nah, stay away from mass gainers, expensive as fuck, and it just goes through you for the most part. Just learn to meal prep on youtube, then you can buy in bulk for cheap and plan everything out down to the macros for the week.
