Do normie looking people just... not get stared at whenever they go outside?

it's just something I can't wrap my head around, I get stared at most outings by at least a few people, most people on a particularly unlucky day, and I just can't imagine or comprehend that the majority of people out there just... don't get stared everywhere they go, is this really a reality for those people?
