Do people really percieve you based on flipped selfies?

Are flipped selfies accurate to how u really look like? Because I look better in photos I flip (to mimic the perception of how people see me) than the mirror which isnt flipped. I'm worried that I'm much uglier than the selfies I take at an arms distance

If you want to see the real you, look at a reversed mirror in REAL LIFE.

How people see u | How people perceive u

Obviously, people do see u inverted

But that's not how they perceive u,

you're perceived the same way u see yourself in the mirror

Nobody had a completely symmetrical face

Your brain is js so used to your face in the mirror

So when you see it inverted (using that filter)

the unfamiliarity will make you dislike what you see.

they see you as if on a reverse camera, but they don't see you as you do, because they have seen you all their lives, just as you see yourself in a mirror

looking at yourself inverted only looks weird to you because you are used to seeing urself mirrored, it does not look weird to others. everyone is asymmetrical and we mostly never notice unless we are looking for it
