Weed affects skin? edibles are safe?

Not sure but my gut says edibles should be alright, the thing that gets your skin is all the toxic and noxious compounds in smoke. Inhaling any smoke from any burning substance will have the same side effects as cigarette smoking
Vaping also gets you because of the trace toxins and heavy metals in the vapor, rather than combustion products, which may or may not be easier on your skin but it’s definitely not helping
