Moral nihilism ftw. Literally nothing matters in life tbh. There is no difference between a serial killer and a philanthropist. They will end up in the same place: dead. Eventually, humanity and our sun will die out so all of our efforts to preserve human life will be utterly useless. Nothing will stop our inevitable deaths no matter what we do so don't feel guilty about doing nor saying anything, even if it's regarded as "wrong", "lazy", "immoral", or whatever bullcrap. And this isn't your typical "we live in a society" meme post/rant. I genuinely mean it. Nothing matters. You will die. Your loved ones will die. You will be forgotten and so will everyone you know. Do you know your ancestors from 100 years ago or care about them? So imagine 1000 years into the future. I like to call this "existential freedom" when you're truly a free being in life. Free from obligations and guilt. You can choose today to work towards becoming a millionaire or sit at home and play video games all day and nothing will literally matter whether path you take. Alot of people call this freedom "selfish" but it is what it is. I am no longer shocked at anything that happens in this world because of it since I expect nothing from no one and don't expect people to expect things from me...
