Something I've always thought is that you shouldn't sell yourself short. Like if the first thing you say on the first date is "HI MY NAME IS HARDYY I CUT MYSELF" then that's stupid and will scare any reasonable girl away. But obviously you have to tell her that you've done SH before you two get serious. So just show her a really good time and how great of a guy you are like the 3 first dates or something, and then tell her about the SH. I don't think it's lying showing your good qualities before being honest with your bad qualities.

You can hide the scars with makeup if you ever do go shirtless in front of a girl depending on the girl they could be shocked maybe weirded out abit or they could just ignore it or try be supportive and ask about it

If you feel you've moved past depression and self-harm, it would be better to tell the truth and say you got past a depressive time of your life. It might look bad to squeamish girls but if thats your worry just hide it with makeup, it wont look "repulsive" if they know the story behind it

Can’t really hide it without long sleeves but you can get rid of the scars permanently with multiple sessions of laser
