I live in Canada so I won’t mind some global warming tbh, I’m scared for my people back home ofc as it will negatively affect Africans if true. What’s your take?

Yes, but the marketing/delivery of it was very poor. Scientists tried to scare people into action by giving doomsday dates that weren't realistic.
It's like the boy who cried wolf, he keeps telling everyone there's a wolf until they stop believing him and when the wolf comes no one believes it.

Also selfish boomers think their lifestyle will become worse and they won't enjoy their retirements as much if global warming policies are enacted, it's purely out of selfishness and delusion. They don't care about leaving a better world for future generations.

Because average global temperatures have risen over the years.

Also the term 'global warming' has been replaced with 'climate change' for a good reason. It's not going up everywhere, only overall across the globe.

Climate is basically becoming more extreme, both in hot periods and cold ones. We'll see more snow storms because of the greater heat difference between the equator and poles.

Some places will become wetter and more similar to England.

Those industries only exist to provide a service to the plebs. The car industry has made several billion cars because there are several billion people who want cars.

Back when I was a kid it snowed all the time in winter, the streets were filled with snow , it was difficult to travel, now it's very rare, and just a little snow.
Summer are also much hotter and humid, we didn't need air conditioning until around 2009, when for two weeks I could barely sleep because of the hot weather -from morning until evening it was 30°C, I had to keep the windows closed and only opened them at night, but then humidity was very high, so it was even worse. From that year, every summer has been a little worse and worse - constant heat from morning until evening, and sometimes very unusual high humidity like in a tropical climate.

I think it is a good thing environementalists push for green energy by fearmongering , because green energy is more sustainable and renewable while fossil fuels are going to run out one day .
