Nobody knows whether he is real or not, if such a being does exist it probably doesn't give a shit about humans. I mean it's like a human caring about ants, we are probably such inferior creatures in his eyes that he enjoys seeing us suffer. Or he could be someone who loves but doesn't interfere in our business. There are varies believes anything could be true, so who knows.
