Agree. Alcohol affects REM and deep sleep cycles, and increases cortisol. It is the biggest socially accepted looksmin that I know of. I rarely drink and get memed for that in the fraternity I'm in, but guess what? I look noticeably better than 90% of the guys.

Phenibut has been a good substitute for me. 2g once a wk, or 1g to ease nerves on dates/important social events (sorority socials, etc).

Otherwise yes, cut down like 10lbs and then start slow bulking. High volume training would seem to benefit you most given your metabolism and frame size.

I'll stick to phenibut for now then, I usually get cranked on two 1g doses 1hr apart, come up time is 3 hours and then it peaks for like 8 hours. I usually dose in the afternoon and it lasts till 2am when I go to bed after a party.
