Do you live a passive or active lifestyle?

How are you planning to lock in?
First i need to finish school, since I'm doing miserably right now, and after that I'll make plans with my dad and girlfriend.

An active lifestyle is one where YOU take the initiative, chase goals and shape your reality. You take care of your health and actively look for opportunities that can improve your life and push it it's limits.

A passive lifestyle is basically living on autopilot. Instead of looking and chasing opportunities, you sit and wait for them to somehow come your way. You don't look for friends, you don't look for jobs, you don't bother working on yourself, and you just hope everything will eventually come to you. People in this lifestyle WILL eventually do things, but only because they're forced to because their time is running out.

I myself live very much a passive lifestyle, i found myself too deep in my head to actively try to do something with my life (except maybe going to the gym). This lifestyle HAS made me worried about my future, but i still actively choose to ignore that. :feelshah: I believe that it's a coping mechanism to keep yourself brainlessly happy.

It’s a mix for me tbh. For example I don’t seek friends or relationships (the latter probably not by choice :feelskek:). And I stay inside a lot rather than clubbing or going out. But I actively try to improve myself personally. (I sound like a corny red pilled gym influencer while typing this)

Well if i do pass my school i'm basically guaranteed to be able to get into most restaurant/gastronomy places in my town, so that's a starter.

With my English skills, if i get good enough, i could even become an international chef, but that's like 10 years into the future, but i definitely want to do something with cooking.

If that doesn't work out, maybe a personal trainer of some sorts?

That's still active to me, if you're chasing your goals and dreams and actively looking towards your future.

I don't need anything high, it's basically out of my league, I've made too many mistakes as a teenager to achieve anything big.

It’s out of your league because you aren’t trying to get into that league.

its a mix of both.

There are days where im working for like 12 hours, doing lots of shit, there are days where i just sit here all day

1762887988114

im always trying new shit, new nootropics, stimulants, pills to rape anxiety, new softmax, looking at other procedures i can get done. The goal is to look good, be financially ahead most people, and obviously have a girlfriend/wife which comes in part of looking good and learning to rape my high inhib.

lol if u live on autopilot, always be working towards something even if takes 10 minutes out ur day

There HAVE to be rest days, that doesn't mean you're living a passive lifestyle or a mix of both.

You're living a very much active lifestyle, just with a bit of rest there and then, which is normal. :Comfy::feelsautistic:

I believe it depends solely on the level of conscientiousness and the environment in which someone grew up & the resources available to them
Unfortunately, in my case, it's passive

That's how I've been my whole life

Everything has been on autopilot, fate, and destiny

Absolutely zero ambition / proactive motivation on my part towards absolutely anything (what was truly important in anyone's life, things like having a relationship, what career to pursue, what city to move to, etc.)

People on the outside always told me, "Hey, you should do x now, etc.," and that's pretty much what I did, things like learning to ride a bike, getting my driver's license, finishing high school, going to x college, going to x job, etc. (they only happened because external factors/people pushed me from behind and said something like, "Hey, it's time to do this, everyone else is doing it," or something like that)

Everything related to how and when all this happened was determined by things quite beyond my control, and I always put in the minimum effort and usually as late as possible, so as not to stray too far from my comfort zone..

Unfortunately, If I look at my parents, my grandparents, all my extended family members, my friends etc. about 80-90% of them have lived and continue to live this kind of passive life..

Like, I could never be the guy in the video below..
