Best greetings to all of you.
I created this thread to ask the members of this internet forum who live in (Western) Europe whether you enjoy it here or if you would like to move away at some point.
Many people, including my parents, came to the West from various countries in the 80s and 90s in search of a better and safer life, so that their children could ideally study, find a well-paid job, and thus build a good life.
Unfortunately, those days are long gone. The rate of mental illness increases every year, primarily depression, panic and anxiety attacks, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The same applies to loneliness and unemployment.
When I talk to friends, acquaintances, or (former) colleagues, almost all of them (it feels like 99 percent) tell me that they no longer see a future in Europe and want to leave as soon as possible (everyone who has the opportunity).
Skilled workers usually move to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, or Norway.
I was born in Eastern Europe, but came to the West as a child, and this is everyday life here:
Most people, especially men, usually spend their weekends drinking alcohol in clubs or pubs and watching football.
In rural areas, the population is largely elderly and retired; there are very few jobs, the rate of loneliness is very high, and the same applies to alcoholism and other drugs.
Small towns, and even most large cities, all look pretty much the same.
Fast-food "restaurants", trash everywhere, extremely high drug trafficking and consumption, betting shops, grocery stores like Aldi, cell phone repair shops, hookah lounges, shops selling vapes and cigarettes, candy stores, vending machines, and dollar stores.
Of course, there's much more, but this is what almost every place looks like these days.
On top of that, since cannabis was legalized, you can smell it everywhere.
You can even see boys and girls here with vapes (tobacco with various flavors, cannabis, synthetic cannabinoids, or other drugs) who look like children.
My own people (Olga, Ludmila, Natasha), *generally speaking*, want a rich man who finances their lifestyle (lip fillers, Botox injections, breast implants, expensive designer clothes, a new iPhone, trips to Dubai, Monaco, etc.).
Of course, there are some who aren't like that, but you get my point.
The "good" thing is that men with melanin-rich skin have an extremely easy time with women from Eastern Europe (e.g., one-night stands).
Eastern European women don't just like them, they absolutely love these men.
Thousands of Russian women fly to Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco (and other countries) every year, not only to enjoy the beautiful weather but also to sleep with the local men there.
Almost every Eastern European woman (mostly from Russia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland) I know personally is in a relationship or married to a man of a different background and religion.

I'd really like to know what you think about this.
Thank you very much for reading my message.
God bless you.

Concern in Russia as women “lose interest” in local men: Turkey may be to blame
Russian veterans organization calls for ban on Turkish soap operas that depict 'ideal men' and contribute to the country’s demographic crisis.
I'd really like to know what you think about this.
Thank you very much for reading my message.
