Normies are people that barely think about what is going on around them, adopt whatever is trending, consume mainstream content, and go with the flow.

Neurotypicals are people with no mental disorder or illness.

While the two terms are often used as synonyms, they are not exactly the same thing. You can be neurotypical without being a normie in the derogatory way we think about.
