Apparently calcium implants exist but they suck.


Would it be possible to make a material thats the same as the bone, and then 3D print it?


Would this allow you to make those implants bigger that the conventional ones?

Scientists are working on bone regeneration that targets certain bones, will probably be out to cosmetic use in a few decades

Well, they'd probably cause less bone distortion, as well as be less visible through the skin

its theoretically possible but would take fucking ages look at LL that can be applied to jaw etc

Idk I made that part up, but still, less or no bone distortion would be possible and quite a huge thing, as it would enable you to go even bigger in, for example, zygomatic region.


As for the visibility through skin, I meant it would stretch the skin in a more natural way
