Do you think in the future there will be midface shortening surgery?

Maybe technology will come do forward that you would be able manipulate all bones, re open growth places and other things.
Also probably the first country which will find solution will be Korea or Japan because they are obsessed over short/small faces and their technology is insane.

Imagine if we could.

Tbh we should all become specialised in looks theory

The only way to really shorten the midface is vertically shorten the maxilla. Its possible with lefort 2 and 3 but you cant shorten it by much its impossible tbh.

With this virtually everyone would be able to ascend. We would have a surgery for everything. Midface shortening is already possible if philtrum is the problem. They need to find a way to shorten the nose part

I think they ealier will fix this problem if this simulation will be legit
12 Figure16 1

This is MARPE pulled at +30 degrees. As you can see distance between eyes and nasal base is drasticly shorter.

thanks

sadly though, only works for people with actual skeletal problems (class II). Sad to say but a lot of people that complain about long midface just lack width everywhere, zygos, jaw, and ipd. They're often times class I.

But maybe it would work with people who have Class 2 face(profile) also since long maxilla and downward growth are also funcional problems, who knows, it depends on orthodontist
