Year by year online dating becomes more and more popular. For females it is so easy to get matches it's crazy. I saw it with my own eyes. Some girl I know let me use her phone and sure enough it was a 100% match rate (granted she is really good looking but that does not matter much). She said that although she gets so many matches it doesn't matter to her since she is too skeptical to know if the guy is genuine or not. She says she mostly uses the app as a confidence boost.
Here is the real problem though. Lets say you meet some girl IRL and you hit it off. You would start dating and both of you may even have a genuinely great time hanging out together. How long would that last until she loses interest or just decides that she can do better? In her head she knows that her next boyfriend is few swipes away. I believe that a lot of girls are not that eager to find the replacement since it is hard for them to lose and gain emotional attachment but I may be coping. Any thoughts?
