Using 1 mg 3x per week gives you results regarding hair loss, so you can stop hair loss and get little to no side effects since you’re not using it 7 days a week according to these doctors. I was tired of reading people’s report and actually look for science-based explanations.

I’ve been afraid of finasteride for a long time, but i hate my receding hairline so much and i think i will finally try it, along with minoxidil and dermarolling to make my temples grow back. Touching my temples with my fingers and not feel any hair on there is depressing.

Yeah, it's the best dosage. I highly recommend their channel, helped me decide to to jump on Fin, and I'm lucky to have no sides and respond well.

Hair quality is better but idk about hair growing back since I wasn’t balding and only took it to prevent future balding.

I hear this alot. But what is the actual science behind this? The hair that is being transplanted it taken from an area at the back of your head, which is NOT prone to miniturization due to DHT. So why would the same hair be sensitive to DHT when transplanted somewhere else?

You're right, it depends on the susceptibility of the donor region.

You are right that the hair in the donor region is immune to DHT miniturization. However where the safe donor begins is different from person to person. Some people have only a very slim strip. Furthermore they might have retrograde alopecia, where their nape and side are also impacted. If your HT doc is bad/unethical then he will probably go high up the vertex and then you might actually run into the issue of the hairs eventually falling out.
