It does not adversely effect the face if it is successful. But half of root canals end up getting infected and the result is bone loss. You are better off extracting the tooth and getting an implant imo.

No, and make sure to do RCT with very experienced endodontist only, they know canals very well and can clean infection 100%, if done not by a pro the infection will remain and re grow soon.
