Does aloe vera gel have any effect on hair permanently?

I've been applying aloe vera gel on my hair after shower for a few weeks now, noticed that it temporarily moisturizes hair. Does it have any permanent negative/ positive effects on hair? Amd do y'all recommend applying aloe vera gel on face?

honestly i like it on my face, like its a fresh wakener specialy on the morning, i have nothing negative to say about it

Why would you put that on your hair? Aloe vera is an astringent; hence why it's used on burn wounds. It moisturize your scalp but for a moment and eventually dry it out more if not paired with an oil or moisturizer because it's akin to a toner.
