I never get mentally stressed, but I always get physically stressed.

Not gonna go into detail on this, but when I was about 12/13 (21 now) I had really bad anxiety and was made to see a therapist weekly, and I was so depressed that they suggested giving me medication (thankfully my parents refused).

It was the worst mental battles of my life, to the point where if I was alone for longer than 10 minutes I would end up crying and panicking. Because of this experience when I was younger, I deal with my mental health pretty well, and to be honest there isn’t anything that I can experience that will be the level of hell I have already dealt with. So I now hardly ever get mentally stressed.

Instead I get physically stressed, to the point where I throw up. I have an assignment in person tomorrow, and I am a little nervous about it but I would say I’m fine, but I just threw up even tho mentally I am pretty chill.

I don’t know how to stop this, this is a reoccurring issue. When I was studying for my A-Levels (Grade 11 and 12 for Americans) during the exam period (lasted about 5 weeks) I threw up nearly every morning.

Does anyone relate to this, and can provide a sort of remedy?

Thanks to those who read.

Mentally and physically stressed since March 2023

Bump ffs

What’s the science behind that?
Beta blocker blocks adrenaline receptors leading to less physical anxiety. Baclofen is a gaba agonist which relaxes muscles. Beta blocker is prolly better for your use case

I will look into that, it’s not a crazy issue, I just throw up and then after that I’m fine, but it’s still annoying.

Appreciate the response
