Not in a consumerist way, but as a serious work of art. I like that thing 80s media did with violence, where it's omnipresent but as a vehicle for the narrative and the themes of the story, and most of the time it's graphic and confronted in a mature way (like in movies like Robocop). I also like how simple the story is. It's undoubtedly incredible how sparse the plot is, yet it's pretty heavy and profound at times. It's a deep work of art that ties to way older works of literature and treads on human nature and psychology.
