does anyone have any tips for permaculture gardens?

I just moved into a new house, and I'm planning on starting another garden, this time I want it to be permaculture, any tips or ideas for the garden?

funny flair I gave myself.

you can also make a hugelkultur as raised bed.

there are not a whole lot of pictures on how to do this on the internet but it's just filling a hole with wood and debree and covering it with soil, letting it rot and planting crops on top of it.
