i just said time exists in a dimension outside of a 3d/2d not that time itself and we dont exist within other dimensions

so... what are they?

More like planes of existence. Not so much in the esoteric sense per se, but in the sense that some planes can in some ways be more important than others. More pertinent. Which is because they're more real. That can be hard to fathom.

And this is why time exists inside our dimension. Certain things we can measure let us know that there is definitely time in our plane/dimension. Our dimension is not that real. In the most important, most inconceivably real, dimension that has ever existed time cannot exist. The fact that we're this dumb and can even conceptualize time let's us know that we're in fact the ones that inhabit a realm where it exists.

There are beings that can much more freely go between these planes of existence, with full understanding of things like what we're talking about right now. They understand the intricacies of these planes, as well as why they exist. For us we can see into other planes/dimensions when using certain drugs, or attempting to do what others believe to be astral projecting. But some things, or even all, are either obscured or downright masked by these beings.

Plane is not the right word either because it completely misses something integral that the word "dimension" encompasses.
