People who have been on the forum for long enough will understand that recession doesn't just occur in the maxilla and mandible; the skull recesses as a whole.

Does this mean the eye socket will also recess, which means the eyeball will be less anteriorly projected on the face? (less forward).

At the moment, surgery can't bring the eye socket forward, nor the cranium as a whole. The only thing that can make you appear more forward grown are lefort surgeries and monobloc, but they won't bring the eyes forward, only the bones around the eye.

What made me think of this topic was Invincible. If we take a look at Omni Man not only is his face and cranium more projected, but so are his eyes. Compared to invincible, who has less protrusion in his paranasal area/midface as a whole. His cranium also looks underdeveloped and recessed indicated by a rounded occipital bone.

I made 2 morphs of Invincible. The first one I made the anterior projection of the eyes more forward and a little upward. The second one I just protruded the bones around the eyes and didn't move the eyes themselves. It doesn't seem like this feature is too important. Thoughts and can someone answer my question please?

Also, how important do yall think this feature is?

yes absolutely, isn't this what is meant by "facial depth"?

however I think that while mandibular and maxillary recession are largely driven by improper habits, I think that the facial depth (and the overall shape of the cranium) are slightly more influenced by genetics

At the moment, surgery can't bring the eye socket forward
it can, RSM has done some work on repositioning the socket, but the issue there is the optical nerve, that is the part that absolutely cannot be changed

It doesn't seem like this feature is too important
it's one of the most important features IMO in a way where the correlation of good facial depth and other desirable traits (good development of maxilla, shape of zygos, development of mandible) is extraordinarily high

only people that I see be "good looking" while not having good facial depth are those who are hard carried by their eye area, coloring, or soft features in general

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Lefort will only project the midface I presume
this is not lefort or any kind of real procedure or process, it's a simulated gif from an anthropological study about human ancestry...

No sorry dont depend on AI for craniofacial info
valid lol i just dont care enuff to care cause i doubt youre gonna get any sort of procedure done and getting so autistic about such small shit isnt gonna change anything

If RSM has brought the eyes more forward on the face, I need proof. As you mention the optical nerve will probably be damaged. This due to the optical neve having to stretch more forward to accommodate the new eye socket position. In order to avoid damage you would have to move the cranium forward, which is impossible.

The only eye socket surgeries I am aware Liam has performed with Celal are Tripods Osteotomy and Orbital Box Osteotomy.

Nahh, the eyeball's position remains relatively fixed within the orbital cavity:smonk:

@RealSurgerymax

To keep this thread alive I will give another very masculine example. Kratos.

Look at how far his eyes extend from his cranium. All masculine GigaChads have this feature.

More morphs. I took the second and projected the eyes and splanchnocranium forward and up.
