People who have been on the forum for long enough will understand that recession doesn't just occur in the maxilla and mandible; the skull recesses as a whole.
Does this mean the eye socket will also recess, which means the eyeball will be less anteriorly projected on the face? (less forward).
At the moment, surgery can't bring the eye socket forward, nor the cranium as a whole. The only thing that can make you appear more forward grown are lefort surgeries and monobloc, but they won't bring the eyes forward, only the bones around the eye.
What made me think of this topic was Invincible. If we take a look at Omni Man not only is his face and cranium more projected, but so are his eyes. Compared to invincible, who has less protrusion in his paranasal area/midface as a whole. His cranium also looks underdeveloped and recessed indicated by a rounded occipital bone.
I made 2 morphs of Invincible. The first one I made the anterior projection of the eyes more forward and a little upward. The second one I just protruded the bones around the eyes and didn't move the eyes themselves. It doesn't seem like this feature is too important. Thoughts and can someone answer my question please?
Also, how important do yall think this feature is?
