Yes, It can also help to hide your haid to jaw ratio. I personally have a huge head and a below avg jaw. The huge head makes my jaw look tiny when I had a buzz cut. But now that I have abt 3 inch hair, don't use any products or do anything with it I have at least +1 rating bc my jaw looks normal and I am lucky to have thick voluminous fluffy hair
