Does jaw implants widens the jaw from the lower view ?

So i mean okay its widens the jaw in the front but what about the lower view in the jaw i cant explain it better

I mean in this view if you get a jaw implant will this view stay the same or its going to be wider ?
I know nobody going to look your jaw in the lower view but im just interested
