Does lifting weights mostly compound movements (Bench Press,Overhead press, Squat, Deadlift) promote bone growth in length and size ?

my wrists got thicker from 6 to 6.5 inch when i increased my weight from 58-67kg gymming 5 days per week for 4 months. Although I am 20 and look very young for my age.

If youre young

Medieval archer skeletons have both longer and more robust dominant arms

Resistance against the axis of the bone will promote bone density yes. So the bench press will likely cause wrists to grow whereas dumbbell curls likely will not.

It promotes negligible bone growth beyond the first phase of beginner gains, but it promotes bone HEALTH which is more important as it reduces the chance of bones cracking, keeps your posture strong, and helps a lot with not developing osteoporosis as you become older.
