i'd argue that it does more often than not, due to the fact that you are able to style it in many different ways, hide flaws, tie it up, it stands out, etc. ive been growing my hair out since 2018 and after never getting a single compliment on my shitty miniature jewfro i used to have, once my hair finally got long and settled down, it is probably the feature of mine i get the most amount of compliments on next to my physique
